so trashy

My name is Ivette De Santiago, and my piece is titled "so trashy." This is a framed photograph of a pile of trash I found in an alley. I thought this could be a perfect submission for Something Wicked, because what is more wicked than polluting our beautiful planet? We were placed on this Earth, either by divine intervention or pure coincidence, with everything we could possibly need, and, being the humans that we are, we have turned it into a place where trash on the streets is seen as normal. With this photograph, I aim to highlight our daily wicked actions that are seen as minute, yet are deeply impacting the state of our home planet.
