Grow a Spine

Ami Schneider

Mixed media - Acrylic, Assemblage on Canvas

13in x 16in

NFS

Painting with sculptural elements in a red wooden frame. A bright yellow skeleton, shown as a grinning skull and a long spine in profile, faces a pink, three-dimensional human heart sculpted onto the canvas and dripping pink and yellow paint down the frame. A white spine grows up out of the heart like a stem and ends in a real red daisy-like flower. The background is filled with swirling blue, purple and green circles.
