"AREA 22 - Arts, Crafts, & Oddities Fair Week"

Young artists will create small, sellable works inspired by the playful and curious spirit of the Area 22 Arts, Crafts, & Oddities Fair. Think mini sculptures, prints, handmade crafts, quirky creatures, and imaginative objects.

Young artists will learn the basics of preparing artwork for a market setting — creating simple signage, thinking about pricing, and practicing how to talk about their creations. This week builds confidence, creativity, and pride as students see their art valued by the community.

Arts education should be accessible to everyone. At Side Street Studio Arts, we believe creative learning strengthens individuals, builds community, and helps people see the world in new ways.

To keep these opportunities open to all, this program is offered on a *Pay What You Can basis. The true cost of the program is $125, which helps cover artist instructors, materials, and space. If you’re able to contribute the full amount—or a little more—you help sustain arts education and make it possible for others to participate. If $125 would be a stretch, please pay what you can.

• Daily snack included

• Grades K–5: occasional park/outdoor time and some field trips
