I am a multimedia artist focused on exploring stories through video, photography, and installation. I received a BFA from the University of Florida focusing on Art and Technology and a minor in Art History. A lot of my work focuses on the identity of growing up as a first-generation Mexican-American and how Mental Illness is seen in our culture.
I started at Side Street in 2018 and began teaching soon after. I've had the great opportunity to have worked with children for as long as I can remember. I love working with young artists, they teach me just as much as I teach them. There is no way better of seeing the world than through the eyes of a child and I love being a part of that.
