Macy Zaringlee

Woodblock on paper

11in x 14in

$150

Relief print in yellow, red and black of a large, cat-like creature crouching low and looking back over its shoulder with narrowed, slanted eyes and a sly grin. Its entire body, from head to curled tail, is covered in layered yellow leaf- or flame-shaped scales outlined in red and black. Behind it, a row of tall red arched shapes like doorways or tombstones stands against a streaky white and red background.
