Going Dutch - Tiny Encounters

Produced by Side Street Studio Arts with support from the Elgin Cultural Arts Commission, Tiny Encounters is a new intimate performance experience presented as part of Going Dutch — a celebration of female and nonbinary voices in the arts.

Audiences will move throughout downtown Elgin encountering small-scale performances presented in closets, storefronts, studios, hallways, corners, outdoor spaces, and other unexpected environments.

Featuring movement, theater, music, spoken word, drag, installation work, live art, and interdisciplinary performance, Tiny Encounters celebrates experimentation, immediacy, and close-up creative experiences that remove barriers between artists and audiences.
