Cancer Survivors Day: Creative Workshop Series
Side Street Studio Arts invites you to a special series of FREE creative workshops leading up to the National Cancer Survivors Day Celebration at Sherman Hospital.
These art experiences are open to all those touched by cancer — survivors, caregivers, family members, healthcare professionals, and supporters. No experience necessary — just a willingness to create, connect, and heal through the arts.

Finding Fluidity in Movement and Pigment: Feldenkrais and Watercolors

Monday, May 12 | 6:00–8:00 PM
In this workshop, participants will be guided through an Awareness Through Movement lesson to explore ease and fluidity in their bodies. After the movement session, we’ll take time for reflection through writing, then translate our sensations, thoughts, and feelings into watercolor paintings using a wet-on-wet technique.
No prior experience with movement, writing, or painting is necessary. This workshop is open to all.
